MindCare Volunteer Wins Mayor’s Award

We are delighted to announce that MindCare Dementia Support volunteer, Pat Williams, was selected by the Mayor of Bromley for an ‘Outstanding Voluntary Service to the Community over a Number of Years’ Award at a ceremony on 16th March 2017.

Pat has been volunteering for Bromley MindCare Dementia Support for close to 9 years. She has been working with people with dementia attending the centre in Beckenham, helping them to live as well as possible and engaging people in activities.

After receiving the award Pat said, “It was a special moment. I am honoured to receive this award and to volunteer for MindCare.”

Congratulations to Pat and thank you for all your work to help people with dementia live as well as possible in their local community.
