Bromley MindCare is launching new Dementia Wellbeing & Exercise Cafés in Beckenham and Orpington during Carers Week 2015 (8-14 June 2015).
The free dementia cafés are for people with dementia and their family carers. It will be an opportunity to meet other local people with similar experiences of dementia and caring and a chance to engage in half hour exercise classes led by a professional fitness instructor, Lisa Farley.
The Beckenham dementia café will be launching on Wednesday 10 June 2015 (10.15am to 12.15pm) at the newly refurbished Grade II listed Country Manor style building, Venue 28, 28 Beckenham Road, Beckenham BR3 4LS (map). The exercise class will run from 10.30am to 11am.
The Orpington dementia café will be launching on Friday 12 June 2015 (10.30am to 12.30pm) across the car park from the St Paul’s Wood MindCare Dementia Centre in the Small Hall, United Reformed Church, Giggs Hill, Orpington, BR5 2SA (map). The exercise class will run from 11am to 11.30am.
